LGD-4033 is a drug of the selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs) category. It was originally created as a drug for the treatment of muscle atrophy and prevention of age-related muscle loss. Later, it gained widespread use in sports due to the combination of high efficiency and minimal side effects, which are easily leveled with the right approach. The patent belongs to Ligand Pharm, as its creator, although the drug is being developed by Viking Therapeutic.

MECHANISM OF ACTION
Ligandrol works like all other drugs in its category. It selectively binds to androgen receptors.
